Native to California, Carol Ann Blanding was recently chosen to exhibit at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Art Sales Gallery.

Carol’s bright, bold and humorous style is free and alive. Using her children’s antics as a source of energy, she paints with vibrant colors and a pointillistic style, conjuring up madcap worlds of mystery and wonder. Her tropical scenes come from her time spent in the islands of Hawaii, and her love of Mexico.

Blanding paints in oil, acrylic, pastels and watercolor. She has shown at LACMA, Bacchus Gallery, Glaxa Gallery, Shop Chuey, Vida and the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery to name a few.
